Yes — if you order the right things. The DG steak by Txogitxu (1kg for two) and the tomahawk are genuinely exceptional. The tableside Caesar salad is worth having for the theatre alone. Where it can disappoint: the wine pricing is aggressive, service dips during peak summer, and some dishes feel like they lean on the Dani García name more than they earn it. Book the lunch service for better value and a more attentive experience.

Leña vs Origen — which should I choose?

For a special occasion with a budget: Leña. The setting, the theatre, and the Txogitxu beef are unmatched. For the best steak-to-money ratio in Marbella: Origen. Same level of care with the meat, warmer atmosphere, consistently excellent service, and €40–50 a head less. If you're only going to one asador, Origen is the safer bet.

What is a chuletón de buey and should I order it?

A chuletón de buey is a bone-in beef rib chop, typically from old Galician or Basque cattle. It's the signature cut of the Spanish asador tradition — heavily marbled, cooked over wood or charcoal, and served simply with sea salt. You should order it if: there are two of you (it's a large cut for sharing), you're at a Spanish asador, and you want the most authentic experience.
